What is the GRE?

The GRE General Test (Graduate Record Examinations) is designed to test the skills needed to excel in graduate programs, including business and law. It also allows you to use more of your personal testing strategies to get the most out of it. In each section, you can ignore the questions and go back, change the answers and more.

  1. Math

  2. Evidence-Based Reading and Writing

  3. Optional Essay (no need for it in Turkish universities)

 

Score

Each of Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing sections is scored from 130 to 170 and are added together for a total of 130 to 170. The optional essay is scored separately.

 

Duration

Math: 80 minutes

Evidence-Based Reading and Writing: 100 minutes

Essay (optional): 50 minutes
